Although if you are looking for a phone with games and applications on your mind then the E5 is not the best option at all as it runs the older symbian OS, which is quickly becoming obsolete and therefore lacks quality apps.
A 2.36″ 256K-color display of 320 x 240 pixel resolutions takes up most of the space on the front of the phone, whilst the rest of the space is covered by the QWERTY keyboard with comparatively bigger keys then the E71. On top there’s a 2mm charger plug, a 3.5mm audio jack and the microUSB port, which is nicely hidden under a plastic flap. together the charger cork and the microUSB port can be worn for charging the phone. On the back you have the loudspeaker grille and the huge camera and flash. The Nokia E5 is powered by Symbian 9.3 and it runs on the S60 3rd edition user interface. Synchronization is also pretty nice and easy although you do need the Ovi Suite for equipments to go the way they are planned to. transfering and receiving contacts via SMS or Bluetooth is also very simple. The price tag for this phone is $259.

Con’s: Small screen, low quality video recording, memory card located beneath the battery.

All Good with Nokia C5

Shopping for a Nokia C5comes with a full pack of all the necessary accessories. There is a stereo headset that you could plug right away in to the 3.5mm headphone jack. Inside still there is a micro USB cable which you could use to connect with your laptop or PC. This would give you a comfortable way to access files through application such as Nokia PC suite and more.

The look of the Nokia C5 give you an aura of reliability, with the metal parts it makes the phone a beauty to behold and more surprisingly, the device is light.
The screen of the Nokia C5 uses a QVGA resolution but when I used it in direct sunlight, the image display was poor even with its brightness set to the highest level. Inclining the Nokia C5 at an angle, very little details are visible at all.
I like the strategic settings of the buttons, they are large making them easy to pad and have a quick feedback when slightly keyed. If only the Nokia C5 come with a QWERTY keyboard it would really be a quick phone to message with.
Underneath you will find a metal cover that covers the battery. I tried opening it and it was very easy as the small peg at the bottom comes in very handy. The Nokia also comes with a light wall charger which you could plug in the topside of the device.
I would not complain much about the Nokia C5; it is worth your money more so when in your hands it is a phone that has a good outer look not to say its quality resemblance.

Under the applications, the Nokia C3 has a J2ME application which also takes a while to load. I noticed that scrolling through messages and texts while surfing is a bit slow. Nokia has been releasing good cell phones and none of those times did I use the Nokia C3 did I have any break downs while making calls.

Nokia C2-01 review: A little something

Little cash in your pocket and a good phone on your mind. Is the Nokia C2-01 it? A still camera, 3G and a memory card slot sound like we’re on the right track. In contrast to the C2-00, this one omits the dual SIM handling but there are other goodies to make up for that.

It’s a cheap phone alright, nothing too flashy, nothing to shout about. But the Nokia C2-01 deserves some credit for squeezing a number of nice little features into its budget. 3.2MP still imaging does sound refreshing after reviewing a VGA primary camera recently. Data speeds top EDGE and a microSD card slot means there’s more than enough room for your music collection. A 3.5mm audio jack too perhaps is better than expected for the price you pay.

We have some complaints (seriously, it’s 2011 and S40 still lacks smart dialing) but other than that the C2-01 looks pretty decent. Arguably, you can hold the lack of dual SIM support against the Nokia C2-01. This feature though is obviously left to the most basic of handsets in the C-series. The C2-01 is a budget phone but not that much of a penny pincher.

Nokia X7-00 review: The stealth xpress

Introduction

Dressed to kill and with a fresh coat of paint on the interface, the Nokia X7 is keen to show there's still fight left in Symbian. The screen is a definite high point and the stainless steel body is fashioned like a stealth jet fighter. Symbian Anna adds in features that have been lacking in the OS, closing the gap on the competition.

The Nokia X7 combines stainless steel and Gorilla glass into one seriously attractive package. It boasts stereo speakers (just two, rather than four as you might think looking at it) to justify its Xseries spot and an 8MP camera with 720p video recording.
The screen impressed us quite a bit as you'll see in our hardware chapter but that's not all we liked about the hardware. The software changes are not as far-reaching as we would have liked, but there are some key developments that that give Symbian a usability boost.

Despite our complaints, this is the best that Symbian has ever looked and Nokia has picked excellent devices to carry it. While the other one, the Nokia E6, is a business phone through and through, the X7 focuses on the fun stuff. From taking photos and videos, through deeper social networking integration, to watching HD videos and browsing the web on the large 4" screen.
The Nokia X7 is something you'll want to show off to your friends. The Nokia designers have done a good job of breaking the touchscreen mould that makes so many phones look uniformly similar.

Don't let your E71/72 smartphone read this. No, it won't have a heart attack or anything. But you don't want it suddenly feeling sad and useless. You certainly realize the E71/E72 duo is getting old and rusty. Like it or not, it's time to move on.

Touchscreen or D-pad is not a decision you're forced to make. It will come naturally instead. Where the small screen won't allow the required level of touch precision, the D-pad will fill in. Five homescreen panes to fill with shortcuts and widgets will do better than the good old Active Standby with alternative setups for business and leisure.
Most importantly though, to even the most old-school of Eseries loyalists, touchscreen will be a fair price to pay for finally upping the screen resolution to acceptable levels.

This phone seems to have almost everything - well, save for HDMI and an actual life-size touchscreen. But we're talking Eseries and the E6 is the business. It feels like Nokia really wanted to rekindle the magic. The E6 makes the E72 look like a routine, cursory attempt at an update. Where the E72 wanted quietly keep on cashing in, the E6 is keen to make a difference. A tall task indeed, considering the times.
